For four years, The Community was a partner in the annual Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Rome. Our primary areas of responsibility were the logistics and international public relations for the Man of Peace Award, where the Nobel Peace Prize laureates would acknowledge an artist or artists who had done outstanding work for peace and humanitarian causes.
In 2007 George Clooney and Don Cheadle won the award for their outstanding work in bringing the genocide in Sudan to international attention.
