Sir James Paul McCartney, CH, MBE is known first as the bass guitarist and singer for the Beatles, the most popular and influential group in the history of pop music. His songwriting partnership with John Lennon is the most celebrated of the post-war era. After the band’s break-up, he pursued a solo career and formed the band Wings with his first wife, Linda, and Denny Laine.
He is one of the most successful composers and performers of all time. He has used his celebrity to promote international charities related to such subjects as animal rights, seal hunting, land mines, vegetarianism, poverty, and music education.
Paul shot a video for The Community’s up coming campaign on The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and did a photo shoot with us for upcoming ads for the campaign.
