The Nobel Peace Prize Award Presentation was conducted in a virtual ceremony in 2020, from World Food Programme headquarters in Rome, and in Oslo at the Nobel Committee headquarters. It includes a Presentation Statement by the Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Berit Reiss-Andersen, an Acceptance Speech by the Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), David Beasley, and the presentation of the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize to WFP.
The broadcast also shows the ceremonial presentation of the medal and diploma to the year’s Peace Prize Laureate in Rome, Italy.
